LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles City Council, 9-1, approved a new ordinance Tuesday requiring that all adult film actors wear condoms when filming within the city limits.
The ordinance, when it goes into effect, will allow the LAPD to perform spot checks on any set once a film permit is issued.
Officials from LAPD, Cal/OSHA and the city attorney’s office will make recommendations on how to implement the ordinance.
The vote was a second procedural vote on the ordinance and required only a simple majority of the council to give final approval.
The Free Speech Coalition said that the adult industry trade group is in discussions with industry leaders and considering options for next steps.

So what does this say? Pretty much that within LA County, all Porn ( Adult Film Actors/Actresses ) must wear sexual protection/condoms while performing on set. I know a lot of people are pissed off at this moment over this decision. It is understandable. A body gets sore wearing condoms all day. But thanks to the irresponsible people whom forget their body is their number one asset and also needs to be kept safe off the porn/movie set screwed it up for the rest of the LA Adult Industry. Just because your tested every 30 days doesn't mean that stranger you bone at the bar is. Or wherever you met them. Its like a singer takes care of their voice, take care of your junk for fucks sake. Sad when the people who should be the smartest can act so stupid.
Hopefully down the road, sex will get safer. Maybe there will be a better system that will help to find a way to make it work for the Adult Industry at least.. Who knows. Until then.. Bet the condom companies are gonna be happy mother fuckers! (Also, the fact that the government can't regulate it all and as long as there cameras rolling, and little other small things, it stays legal. This may be one way for them to have some control. Smh)
